I am nervous but curious to book a session. What next?First of all, this is completely understandable. Our sexuality and intimacy are tender parts of ourselves. I honor the fact that one reaches out to ask and explore the possibility of starting this journey. For that reason I offer a free 30 min. discovery call to answer any questions and for you to see if I am the right professional for you.

What happens in the first session? In the first session we take a look at your intake form/or reflecting together on questions relevant to your requests and discuss how the coaching journey might look for you. We talk about your desires and goals around your intimacy and sexuality and start your journey with guided somatic (clothes on) exercises that do not include any touch. These are foundational exercises to build sensation awareness, explore boundaries and are a prerequisite to bodywork or touch based practices. For more information contact me or book a free discovery call on this website!

How is sex counseling sessions different from the somatic intimacy sessions? In sex counseling sessions a confidential discussion takes place where you will have a safe space to reflect on your needs, ask questions, receive answers to your questions around your intimacy. In the somatic intimacy coaching/sexological bodywork sessions we engage your body, always focused on your individual needs, with movement, touch, breathing exercises and more. Confidential sharing and reflections is also a part of this session, but the attention is on your body's moment to moment experience via various practices & the session might also include bodywork according to your needs.

Somatic Sexology/Intimacy coaching sessions. Same as surrogacy? No, it is a different modality. Although, both share many same goals and outcomes, such as improving body image, supporting clients into feeling more of their bodies and developing intimacy & relational skills, in somatic sex education, practitioners do not interact sexually* with clients. (*one of the main differences) Touch is always optional, always one directional, meaning only from myself to the client, using medical grade gloves for when genital touch is pre-agreed and takes place to serve your educational needs around intimacy.
